COMMENTS
PARTICIPATING IN THE EXPEDITIONS: Your interest in participating
in the expeditions should be declared promptly (no later than Thursday evening
before the event).
CLUB MEMBERSHIP IS NOT A REQUIREMENT TO PARTICIPATE IN AN EXPEDITION.
DEPARTURE: From the club office (in the park behind the Coast Guard building
in Kalamata).
TRANSPORTATION: Private vehicles for groups up to 25 persons. Buses will be
hired for larger groups.
ACCOMODATIONS : Hotel and refuge reservations, 10 days before departure at
the latest.
PERSON RESPONSIBLE: The captain of the expedition.
EQUIPMENT ESSENTIALS: Backpack, boots, wind jacket, thermal clothing, rain
poncho, water bottle, UV sun glasses, trekking poles, snow axe, flashlight,
dry food. And of course, for sleeping outdoors, tent, air or foam matress,
and sleeping bag.
Each participant in a club expedition unreservedly accepts
all responsibility in the case of an accident caused by his actions.
The expedition captain reserves the right to make modifications to the program,
depending on the conditions. The participants are fully reesponsible for their
actions if they do not follow the captain's instructions. The expedition captain
also has the right to prevent someone from participating, if he judges that
he does not fulfill the requirements.
